RUF: WHAT IT IS.

Quote of the Week:

"So what you're left with is either Christ was who He said He was--the Messiah--or a complete nutcase.  I mean, we're talking nutcase on the level of Charles Manson...I'm not joking here.  The idea that the entire course of civilization for over half of the globe could have its fate changed and turned upside-down by a nutcase, for me that's far-fetched."   - Bono

Large Group 3/11:

This week Brad will continue the series on 1 Peter by talking about "suffering for doing good."  Come join us for teaching, fellowship, and worship; then join us at Steak N' Shake afterwards.

Prayer Time 3/11:

Hey folks!  A group of people get together every week before large group to pray for each other, the campus, large group that night, and the world (not necessarily in that order).  Come join them.  They meet at 6:45 in the UC lobby Thursdays before large group.

Girls' Lunch FRIDAY 3/12:

From now on, girls' lunch will be on Fridays!  So come join Casey and Kim in the UC lobby this FRIDAY at 12pm with a bag lunch!

Red Mountain Church Concert 3/12:

Come here an awesome concert this Friday night at 6pm at Grace Community Church (4554 Research Park Blvd. NW)!  They're an acoustic/folksy band that normally leads worship for Red Mountain Church in Birmingham, AL.  Also, it's FREEEEE!!!!!  So you have no excuse not to come.  So come.  You won't regret it.  Really, you won't.

NO SNAT THIS SUNDAY

It's spring break.  Do you REALLY want to hang out with Brad and Caroline on your spring break?  Do Brad and Caroline REALLY want to see y'all on THEIR spring break?  ...yeah we didn't think so.

NO LARGE GROUP NEXT WEEK (3/18)

spring break.  self-explanatory.

GIRLS' AND GUYS' NIGHTS 3/26

still no details.  not my fault.

SUMMER CONFERENCE:  WEEK 2

We're going to summer conference in Panama City Beach, FL for week 2 this year.  To sum it up in the wise words of Rachel Pope, you get to "sleep in Ephesians, have dinner in Martha's kitchen, and have a dance party in the Promised Land."  I mean, seriously...with such awesomely bad location names, what more can you really ask for?  Plus you get to hang out on the beach with your friends and hear really awesome teaching.  Play volleyball.  Play basketball.  Go kayaking.  Get stung by jellyfish.  ...wait, what?

...anyways, just come.  You can register here.

BIBLE STUDIES:

Large group teaching is an important part of RUF, but it's certainly not the only part.  One of the main points of this campus ministry is for y'all to develop relationships in which you learn from and challenge one another, and one of the best ways for y'all to do that is to participate in a Bible study. Here are a few opportunities:
